Welcome to Yog Varanasi. By accessing this website or booking a yoga class (in-home or online), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Yog Varanasi website or services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have a parent / legal guardian's consent if a minor) and you accept these Terms in full.

2. Services offered

Yog Varanasi provides:

  • Personalised in-home yoga sessions across Varanasi.
  • Live online yoga classes via Zoom or Google Meet.
  • Group, 1-on-1, prenatal, kids, and therapy-oriented yoga sessions.

Class details, schedule, and pricing are listed on the Classes & Pricing page and may be updated from time to time without prior notice.

3. Bookings & class enrolment

Classes can be booked via the contact form on this website, by WhatsApp at +91 70525 40773, or by emailing connect@yog-varanasi.com. A booking is confirmed only after we acknowledge it in writing or over phone / WhatsApp and the applicable payment (if any) has been received.

4. Payment

  • The free trial class does not require any payment.
  • Monthly and 3-month packages are payable in advance via UPI, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
  • All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • For in-home classes, the price is fixed based on the distance from Shivpur (within 5 km / beyond 5 km).

5. Cancellation & refund policy

We strive to provide a flexible practice schedule. However, please note:

  • Class cancellation by the student: Please inform us at least 4 hours in advance for individual sessions. Recurrent last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for rescheduling.
  • Package refunds: Monthly fees once paid are generally non-refundable. In genuine medical emergencies or relocation cases, a pro-rata credit may be offered at our sole discretion.
  • Cancellation by the instructor: If we cancel a confirmed session, you will receive a free make-up session or equivalent credit.

6. Attendance & rescheduling

Each monthly package includes a defined number of sessions (typically 20 per month / 5 per week). Missed sessions are forfeit unless rescheduled in advance. Unused sessions cannot be carried over to the next month, except for documented medical reasons.

7. Health declaration & disclaimer

Yoga is a holistic practice but it is not a substitute for professional medical care. By enrolling, you confirm that:

  • You will inform the instructor of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, pregnancy, or medications.
  • You have consulted a doctor if you have any health concerns about beginning physical activity.
  • You will practice within your physical limits and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

Yog Varanasi shall not be liable for any injury, illness, or aggravation of an existing condition arising from your participation in classes.

8. Student conduct

To maintain a safe and respectful environment, all students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time and well-prepared (yoga mat, comfortable clothing).
  • Behave respectfully toward the instructor and other students.
  • Refrain from recording, photographing, or sharing class footage without explicit permission.
  • Avoid attending classes under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate enrolment for behaviour that disrupts the practice, without refund.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yog Varanasi and its instructor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, website content, or any actions taken in reliance on information presented here.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website - text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and design - is the property of Yog Varanasi or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
